This Steel “DLX” series is a doubled powdered version of our original 311 Steel Adventure Rack. The Standard crossbars have extra cut outs to compensate for added weight from the primer base. This is a rack for someone who wants the strength and rigidity of Steel, but is concerned about corrosion, or lives in a corrosive environment.

Our rack will add 2- 2 1/2 inches to your Element’s overall height. This low profile design allows for better weight distribution and height clearance . Currently, our 311 Adventure Rack fits all known tents on the market and uses a simple “bolt down” method, (no mounting brackets needed). However, if you want to use the tent’s mounting brackets meant for commercial sized crossbars, then you need to order our 4 Standard x 2 Skinny crossbar option. The first rooftop platform rack designed solely for the Honda Element was created by off-roaders living in Bend Oregon. These 311 Adventure Racks carry RTT roof top tents, awnings, and all types of camping and overland gear. We named it the “311” Adventure Rack because Honda made the Element from 2003-2011.
