311 Adventure Rack Manufacturing UPDATE

UPDATES:

Oct 1st: Pre-Sales start Oct. 2nd @ 12pm Noon PST.

Sept 25th: Side Rails are powdered! Must be inspected, paired and sent to printer for logo badging.

Sept 22nd: All racks still at powder coat. Side Rails expected to be ready tomorrow. Once they’re inspected, they will go to the printer and we’ll begin pre-selling the racks.

Sept 15th: All racks still at powder coat. Just waiting for first batch of parts (Side Rails) to be completed. Once we can inspect these and determine everything is looking good, we’ll email you and pre-sell.

Sept 8th: All rack parts have been inspected, cleaned and are currently undergoing powder coat.

Sept 2nd: All steel and aluminum rack parts are cut and formed. Currently we are inspecting and cleaning each piece, prepping for powder coat. Est. 2-4 weeks will ship.

August 20th: All steel rack parts have been laser cut and formed. Pallet of Steel Crossbars and Skinny Crossbars ready for powder. All Aluminum rack parts have been laser cut but not formed. Currently being prepped and de-burred.

August 12th: Steel Side Rails have been laser cut, as well as some crossbars. No forming yet on the crossbars, but all brackets are cut and formed.

August 5th: Foot Pads and Mounting Brackets have been cut and are being formed on the press break.

August 4th: All steel files and components are being finalized and slated for laser cutter.

Do to recent demand, we have begun making our Honda Element 311 Adventure Racks again in small numbers. The reason for our recent production pause was simply due to cost. As we’ve all witnessed, costs on just about everything have gone up, and the same can be said for our 311 Adventure Racks. But many of you had reached out and asked for us to continue making these, so we have 10 Steel racks and 12 Aluminum racks in production. You can check out the progress on this update page.

Once we have an estimated shipping date, we may pre-sell these. Feel free to email us if you want to be contacted when sales happen.
