Open Moon Roof Configuration for 311 Adventure Rack
Many have asked about a new RTT roof top tent for the Honda Element, (maybe called the “Eletent”?). We have not seen one in person, so we can’t access how it would or would not work with our 311 Adventure Rack. The tent offers an opening in the base platform, meant to line up with the moon roof opening in the Honda Element. Here are some photos of the crossbar configuration used when allowing an opening over the Element’s moon roof. This configuration also allows you to both take the moon roof out and reinstall the moon roof.
These pictures do not prove this tent will work with our rack! But hopefully they can help shed some light on the plans and goals you have for your Element:)
